SENNHEISER HEADPHONES

A range of superior quality headphones, models supplied (unless stated) with 3 pole 3.5mm jack and adapter to 6.35mm A gauge 3-pole jack plug. All types are very lightweight, and ideal for studio and broadcast usage. Frequency response figures ref. DIN45500. Impedance values are per capsule. HD 480 II

The “standard” broadcast studio headphone. Open back. Small foam earpad 1700 ohms, fitted with 6.35mm A-gauge 3-pole jack plug. Also available in BBC special version fitted with 316 type B-gauge plug, wired mono (54-174, red), also with single sided entry cable with 6.35mm A-gauge plug (54-066). HD 200 PRO

Closed back dynamic headphones with ambient noise reduction to help avoid distractions. Soft leatherette earpads and lower tension headband for comfort over longer periods of time. Designed for home, studio, and stage use. Non-replaceable 2m cable with straight 3.5mm 3-pole jack, plus adapter to 6.35mm jack. SPL 108dB. Frequency response: 20-20000Hz. 32 ohms.

HD 25

Re-designed specifically for ENG and film recordists, the first HD 25 was actually used as in-flight headphones on Concorde, giving an improved listening experience in a very noisy environment. It is not difficult to see why they were soon coveted as the ultimate alternative monitoring headphone for recordists and DJs alike due to their light weight. Closed ear designs with extremely high external noise attenuation. Flip-away earcups, can be locked securely in place. High wearing comfort due to a splittable headband and leather-effect earpads. Single-sided, straight 1.5m cable, steel cored for reliability, supplied fitted with a straight 3.5mm 3-pole jack plus adapter to 6.35mm A-gauge 3-pole jack plug. Impedance 70 ohms. Frequency response 16-22000 Hz, 200mW load rating.

HD 25 Plus

Identical in design to the HD 25, however this includes a 1.5m coiled steel cable (3m length extended) fitted with a straight 3.5mm 3-pole jack plus adapter to 6.35mm A-gauge 3-pole jack plug and an additional steel cored, straight 1.5m cable fitted with a right-angled 3.5mm 3-pole jack plug, a handy storage pouch and a second set of earpads in a velour finish.

HD 25 Light

Similar to the HD 25, but with slightly downrated capsules at 30 to 16,000Hz, 120db maximum SPL, 3m long dual-sided steel cable and a simple, single part headband, 60 ohms. Better suited for DJ use where the response is not so critical. Supplied fitted with 3.5mm 3-pole jack plus adapter to 6.35mm A-gauge 3-pole jack plug.

HD 280 PRO

Closed back circumaural headphones for professional monitoring applications. The high attenuation of external noise (32dB) makes these particularly suitable for use in high noise environments. Folding and rotating ear cups have been integrated on this updated version for easier transportation. Single-sided coiled cable with 3.5mm 3-pole jack, plus screw-on adapter to 6.35mm jack. Frequency response 8 to 25000Hz. SPL 113dB. Weight 285g. Nominal impedance 64 ohms.

HD 300 PRO

HD 300 PRO are dynamic, closed back circumaural headphones for professional monitoring applications. Single-sided replaceable 1.55m straight cable with 3.5mm 3-pole jack. Frequency response: 6 - 25000Hz. SPL: 123dB, 1kHz. Weight: 297g. Impedance: 64 ohms. Power rating: 500mW.
