Product Description
Love Guru, Prem (Salman Khan) likes nothing better than helping lonely souls find their soul mates. But he throws in the towel when he meets hopeless care Bhaskar (Govinda). For this nerdy guy has set his sights high on no less than beautiful heiress Priya Jaisingh (Katrina Kaif). As prem teaches his worst but most ardent student Bhaskar to woo Priya, he finds himself getting involved with touch me not journalist Naina (Lara Dutta). Chotta Don (Rajpal Yadav) and Priya s disapproving dad Raj Jaisingh (Dalip Tahil), add to the chaos, while Naina s journalistic zeal almost destroys the love setting. But then partners Love Guru and Bhaskar get together and find a way out of the hilarious mess.
Review
Partner is a laugh riot. Though inspired from the 2005 Hollywood movie Hitch, Partner is a thoroughly entertaining movie. The way the movie has been adapted to the Indian context is remarkable. While every one from Partner can share the credit of working hard and giving their best, it's Govinda that stands out. The entire film rests on his superlative acting talent and comic timing. --nowrunning.com
Partner is a quite rocking movie although it is inspired from Will Smith's Hitch Partner is the best comedy movie of David Dhawan which I have ever seen.I have not seen Hitch of which Partner is the remake but after seeing Partner I have decided to watch Hitch also.Salman as the date doctor 'Prem' or most popularly known as 'Love Guru' is quite cool and this is the role of his which I loved the most.Govinda as Bhaskar Divakar Chaudhary is good and dashing in his idiot role who goes to Prem to help him to get Priya(Katrina Kaif) and get married to her.Lara as Naina who has only one mission:-to track the date doctor and how he achieved his success and when she finds out that the date doctor is none other than Prem whom she started loving and her son also accepted him as his father gets active after she decides to make Prem's image fall down.Katrina as Priya who is Bhaskar's boss is good looking and quite beautiful in her role.Rajpal as Chotta Don though his role is quite small but he is quite funny as the Don who rather than talking like ganster he talks in a cricket way means like umpire=police.Music by Sajid-Wajid is good especially 'Do You Wanna Partner' song.My favourite scenes are:- 1.The scene where Prem tells about his life from his birth to the time he became 'Love Guru' and helped those men whom even a single girl never looked at that man. 2.The scene where Bhaskar meets Prem and tells him about Priya whom Bhaskar loves after which Prem refuses to help Bhaskar. 3.The scene where Bhaskar reaches Phuket,Thailand and after the end of the journey when Prem decides to help Bhaskar. 4.The scene where Chota Don enters and he tries to catch Naina before she can print his photos in the newspaper. 5.The scene where Bhaskar asks Priya to take some decision on her own in the board room without taking others opinion. 6.The scene where Naina's son plays pranks on Prem when he goes to Naina's house where he comes to know the truth that the boy is actually Naina's son. 7.The scene where Prem meets Bhaskar at the hospital. 8.The scene where Prem,Naina's son and Bhaskar reach Priya's house to convince Raj,Priya's father to get Bhaskar and Priya married. 9.The honeymoon scenes where Bhaskar takes some ideas from Prem of what to do at the first night of honeymoon. I prefer everybody to go and watch this movie. It's rocking --movietalkies.com

About the Director
David Dhawan was born as Rajinder Dhawan in India. He has a brother Anil Dhawan who is an actor. His interest in film-making prompted him to join the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune.
When he started out, he made a few action movies before turning his focus on comedy. Dhawan is married to Karuna and they have two children Rohit and Varun both of whom aspire to join the film industry.
Through 1994 and 1995 the audience got their fill of Dhawan with movies like Andaz, Eena Meena Deeka, Raja Babu and Coolie No 1. Saajan Chale Sasural (1997) saw Govinda dodging two wives and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (1998) had a double dose of not just Govinda but Amitabh Bachchan too in a double role.
Another major success for Dhawan was Biwi No 1 (1999) with Salman Khan, Karishma Kapoor and Sushmita Sen which was a remake of a Tamil movie Sathi Leelavathi.
This was followed by a mix of hits and misses like Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge (2000), Ek Aur Ek Gyaarah (2003) and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004).
He made another hit with the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya. Partner (2007) was a blockbuster and saw Salman Khan as the love guru and Govinda as a man in love with his boss.
