Extreme 30x Zoom
The HS10's real talking point is its incredibly versatile 30x zoom lens. This is the world's first Fujinon 30x optical zoom in a compact camera and offers users an ultra flexible zoom range of 24mm at the wide-angle to 720mm at the telephoto. This camera is ready to take on any photographic subject thrown at it and will achieve pin-sharp results.

Manual Zoom
With a barrel zoom lens you can perfectly frame shots with the hugely versatile 30x zoom by rotating the lens ring to zoom in and out to achieve just the right composition.

BSI CMOS 10 Megapixel Sensor
The HS10 features a 10 megapixel BSI (Back Side Illuminated) CMOS sensor which brings high speed and new features to this 30x zoom camera. The faster CMOS sensor means the HS10 is capable of breaking boundaries of 'long zoom compacts' by introducing incredible high speed shooting functions for the ultimate in performance.

• Best Frame Capture Mode Don't quite know when the action will happen? Half-press the shutter button and the HS10 will start to take photos. • Tourist Remover Remove unwanted tourists from your pictures by using 'Motion Remover' to create a postcard-like image, meaning you don't have to wait around waiting for people to get out of the shot. Electronic Viewfinder (EVF) with "Eye Sensor"
Put your eye to the EVF and "Eye Sensor" automatically switches the camera's display from the LCD to the highly responsive electronic viewfinder, making it even easier to compose your shots.

CMOS Shift + Digital Image Stabilisation
Nothing is more disappointing than taking a photo only to find out it has come out blurred. By combining CMOS sensor shift and Digital Image Stabilisation the HS10 can minimise blur so often caused by camera shake and subject movement, even when shooting at the full 30x zoom.

Tracking Auto Focus
Great when shooting sports and action photography, Tracking AF will 'lock on' to a moving subject* keeping it in focus for as long as the shutter button is half pressed. As soon as the shutter is fully pressed an image is captured with the subject in perfect focus, even when shooting at the full 30x zoom.
*Subjects other than people can also be automatically tracked.

Zoom Bracketing Mode
A single press of the shutter takes three shots at differing zoom magnifications. The original image, a 1.4x zoom image and a 2.0x zoom image are all recorded separately and saved to the memory card so you can choose which crop you prefer.

Instant Zoom
A selectable frame on the LCD lets you bracket and track moving subjects in standard wide view and will save it as a cropped image.

Direct Shooting Buttons
Quickly access and adjust the camera's most important settings and controls with the direct shooting buttons. Conveniently located to the left of the LCD these buttons allow you to easily change settings in an instant.

• ISO Button - adjusts the ISO sensitivity setting for superb performance in low light with minimal noise
• AE Button - changes AE to Spot AE for a perfectly exposed subject
• AF Button - Instantly switches to AF and ensures the camera keeps your subject perfectly in focus
• AF C/S/M Button - switch between Auto Focus, Continuous, Spot and Manual at the touch of a button
• WB Button - choose Auto WB and let the HS10 optimise the white balance for you, or alternatively select one of the presets depending on your requirements

Movie REC Button
A one-touch movie record button enables you to capture all the action in full HD 1080-30p movie clips with stereo audio - it couldn't be easier to shoot high definition videos.
