From the manufacturer CHARACTER BIOS E.T. Accidentally left behind on Earth by his botanist colleagues, this extra-terrestrial befriends Elliott. While living at Elliott’s home and with the help of Elliott and his siblings, E.T. is inspired by a Buck Rogers comic strip to build a makeshift communicator out of household objects and is able to “phone home.” ELLIOTT Elliott hears strange noises outside, finds E.T. and, with the help of Reese’s Pieces, leads E.T. to safety in his room. Unbeknownst to Elliott, the young earthling boy has a psychic connection to E.T. and mirrors the extra-terrestrial’s actions and emotions. After the alien says “E.T. phone home” Elliott rides his bike with E.T. to find a safe place to build a communicator and help E.T. call for help. MICHAEL Elliott and Gertie’s 12-year-old eldest brother, Michael takes on a protective role over his brother and the little alien, helping E.T. evade the authorities and make his way to the spacecraft that arrived to bring the extra-terrestrial home. GERTIE Elliott and Michael’s 7-year-old youngest sister, mischievous and sarcastic Gertie is initially terrified of E.T. but soon grows to love the little extra-terrestrial.
